COLOMBELGO

Colombelgo is a new project of FDI which is financially supported by the European Commission. It also benefits the logistic support of IBM Belgium, Microsoft Belgium and SD Worx.

The name Colombelgo refers to the partnership between the Colombian based Corporación Opción Colombia (COC) and the Belgian based Field Diplomacy Initiative vzw (FDI). COC is a civil society development organisation located in the centre of Bogotá, Colombia, South-America. The Colombelgo-project is designed to establish a sustainable partnership between COC and FDI. Several activities reside under the project, amongst others a CIAS training for local fieldworkers.
The project is executed by our volunteer, Gerrit Saen, who will be living and working in Colombia for one year.
